Memorial Day Remembering The Soldiers Who Died

Thank You With Flag

I want to say thank you!

You chose to make a stand for the US. So that we could be free. That courageous decision took your life during war.

I want to say thank you.

You trained hard to prove yourself worthy to be a soldier.

I want to say thank you.

You fought with every ounce left in your body so that freedom still remains in tact.

I want to say thank you.

My Favorite Custom Flavored Mocha Coffee

My FavoriteCustom Flavored MochaI’ve been drinking coffee since I was about 17 years old. They say that the best way to drink coffee is black. But I can’t get used to the taste.

For several years I drank my coffee with 4 teaspoons of sugar and real milk. Sometimes I would put creamer in it but it didn’t taste as good as real milk did.

A few years ago I decided to experiment with different flavors I liked. Since Jittery Joe’s, Starbucks, and other coffee shops and restaurants were mixing flavors together creating delicious drinks.

A few ideas popped into mind. So I decided that I would give them a try. It would only be a cup of coffee wasted if I did not like the taste.

The experiment began mixing and matching different flavors together in my coffee. There are always the bad and the good to everything you do. The bad well was just plain bad tasting. The good on the other hand was good in an excellent tasting way.

The final verdict is I found my favorite flavored coffee which is my version of mocha. Most of the time this is how I make my coffee.

  • One cup of Folgers coffee.
  • One pack of Swiss Miss hot chocolate.
  • Hazelnut flavoring syrup adjust to desired taste.
  • Honey adjust to desired taste.
  • Real milk adjust to desired taste.
  • Cool whip of your choice and adjust to desired taste.
  • Cinnamon spice adjust to desired taste.

I bought the Swiss Miss hot chocolate, the hazelnut flavoring syrup, and the honey from a local Dollar Tree store. They are seasonal items because I can find them only during the winter months. Other stores may carry them year round check around locally to find what you need.

This is my favorite custom flavored mocha coffee that is taken regularly and most of the time daily.

What is your favorite coffee?

Website Design Improvements

Website Design ImprovementsI decided that the afresh look was needed to liven up my website. A blog was the way to go because they are so popular now. It’s a place where I could share my knowledge by writing articles that would help people.

Having somewhere to be able to express myself is a good thing but at the same time share what I’ve learned with others. It will be a continued adventure that will pose as a launching pad.

Investing in others is a way to give back what others have invested in me. It’s tough but nothing worth doing will always be easy. Every single minute is worth it. Moments that can not be changed but gleaned upon for the future.

Changing A Habit Is Good

Change A HabitYear after year we want to change our bad habits replacing them with good ones. Our desire is so great that we set goals to reach but something happens between setting it and completing it.

It seems that most of them are never successfully completed. What a shame!

Overall it’s good to set goals but sometimes the devastation of not finishing them can be overbearing. That could lead to never setting one again. This is bad.

Now it’s time to take a few minutes to ask yourself these questions. The answers may be surprising. Because they may reveal some interesting things that need to be found out so that a different path can be chosen if necessary.

  1. What goals have I set for myself?
  2. Did I successfully complete them?
  3. How long did I work with those goals before quitting?
  4. What made me quit trying to reach them?
  5. What changes can I make so that I can successfully complete the goals I set?

As you write each question down seriously think about each one then answer them truthfully. There is no need to stay the same way because change sometimes is good.

Don’t make the same mistakes and choices that hinder your progress. Set yourself up in a new groove that will take you to new places and new heights.

The way we work through difficult times is what will set us apart from everyone else. Taking the easy way out is never the best way. You’ve already found that out.

Try a new way to see how it works. When you do then hunker down and hold on because you are going on a ride of a life time. This experience will allow you to be a better all around person teaching things that were never thought possible.

Accept the challenge to improve and get better mentally, physically, and spiritually. Yes, it will be hard. If I lied and said that it would not be then you could end up failing miserably and losing all hope. That is not what I want for you.

Success is around the corner. Are you willing to keep trying? Stop short and it only takes longer to get there.

Do you really want it bad enough? Then do not stop until you get it. Because if you really want it bad enough and you decide to quit it want last. The burning desire embedded deep down in your heart want let you stay quit for long.

It will implant a thought into your mind that want go away. Everyday from morning till night and while you are sleeping it will make its presence known.

Everywhere you go it will follow poking, nudging, and encouraging you to get back on track. Listen to it because it knows best and it knows exactly what you need.

Get ready, get set, and go set some reachable goals!

A Sweet Tooth Encounter

Chocolate Bread DessertAfter eating supper one afternoon while watching television a commercial triggers a uncontrollable sweet tooth desire.

It immediately makes you get up and go look through the refrigerator and freezer but nothing satisfying can be found.

Then as you scavenge the cabinets nothing can be found there either.

So you sit back down on the couch in the living room to continue watching TV sad and disappointed still wanting some dessert to satisfy that sweet tooth.

There are a few ideas that you overlooked. These possibilities could save the day the next time.

All you need are a few common items found in your pantry and refrigerator.

You will need the following ingredients.

  • A loaf of bread, biscuits, or pancakes.
  • Butter
  • Syrup (ex. chocolate, strawberry, caramel, etc.)
  • Fruit (fresh, can, or jar) (ex. peaches, apples, etc.)

First, cook or heat the bread.

If you use a piece of loaf bread then it can be toasted in a toaster then buttered or buttered then microwaved.

The biscuits will need to be baked in the oven or heated in the microwave then buttered.

Second, there are a several options possible to turn the bread of your choice to a sweet tasting and mouth watering dessert.

Option 1: Pour chocolate syrup over the buttered bread. (Note: My favorite.) You will use your favorite flavored syrup.

Option 2: Put your favorite fruit on the buttered bread allowing the juice to soak in. (Note: My favorite fruit is canned peaches but sometimes I use pineapple.)

Option 3: Mix and match buy combining your favorite fruit and syrup together to create your editable masterpiece.

Third, the anticipation is over so you don’t need to wait any longer dig in, eat, and enjoy.
